I loved this little doe when I first laid eyes on her as a first freshener, and welcomed the chance to bring her into my herd. She has a lot of Twincreeks breeding behind her and some National Champions including 2 x AGS National Champion Twink's Pixie and 2006 AGS National Champion Good Day Sunshine, and is the spitting image of her paternal granddam, Midsumernitedream.  She is one of our smallest mature does, barely reaching 19" on her tippy toes, and is wide throughout with near ideal feet and legs and a very capacious, well-attached udder with good size teats that are very nice to milk.  

Her first one milk test was as a 4 year old, 4th freshener. At 34 days fresh she milked 4.6 pounds with 4.3%BF, easily earning her stars in AGS and ADGA. Although I would have liked to see higher butterfat, I am very pleased with this production from a little bitty doe!

Stylish doe who excels in dairy character and combines that with very good general appearance. She is freight train long with a bowling ball escutcheon. She is naturally uphill and has a real "look at me" attitude in the show ring.  She has a very nice shape to her udder combined with nice teat size and placement, tho we'd like higher milk production from her.  

Fancy Free has a lovely daughter named Free Style in the DesertNanny herd in Arizona, who has earned her milking stars in AGS and ADGA.

What a difference a year makes. As a first freshener Morning was tall, long and lanky and underuddered for her size. A year more of maturity and another freshening has transformed her. Although she hasn't grown much in height she now has width and depth to match, and her udder has tripled in size from what it was as a yearling, while still being socked on everywhere.  Morning did well in her senior show ring debut, earning a RsCH. She did not like our unusually cold and snowy Texas winter this year, and her production dropped off rather quickly, but she compensated with an excellent 7.8% butterfat to earn her AGS milk star.  

Kidded December 20th with a large single doe kid sired by Seminole. Misty Dawn is being retained.

Witch is a very stylish, elegant young doe excelling in general appearance. Her first freshening udder is capacious, high and smoothly attached with nice division between the halves and good teats. Her first show was the very competitive Cibolo Classic where she was never lower than 3rd in 2 year old class and twice first place, despite being just a first freshener. 

Next breeding to Rembrandt for late summer kids.

Maid of Honor is littermate sister to Ladies Maid. We got Maid of Honor back when her family had to move to the city and could no longer keep her. She has turned into a beautiful doe! Lovely, feminine head and excellent general appearance. Mammary system is snug with a tight, well-extended foreudder tho I would like to see smoother attachment in the rear.

This lovely girl is loosely line bred on AGS National Champions Good Day Sunshine and Twink's Pixie, and is a lovely example of those lines. Ladies Maid is a long-bodied, stylish, dairy type doe.  Her first freshening udder is capacious and high in the rear, with an especially wide and well extended foreudder. At 6 weeks fresh she is milking 3.0/day, as a first freshener.

One of the only daughters Sumer has graced us with over the last several years, Topeka combines the best traits of sire and dam lines, being longer and more stylish than her dam while retaining that strength of feet and legs and excellent width and body capacity, and smoothly blended nose to tail.  Her first freshening udder has a very pretty shape and is snugly attached, tho bigger teats would be nice. Our 2010 ADGA appraiser really liked this doe for her balance and general appearance. 

Kidded Dec.20th with buck/doe twins by Simon Birch. Doe kid retained. Next breeding to Rembrandt for August kids.

I'd like her to be a bit more dairy but she is extremely level and correct, earning one of our highest young stock appraisal scores on 2009 ADGA LA.  She earned her junior leg in both AGS and ADGA at her first show. First freshening udder is capacious and snugly attached. Her teats point out some but are large enough for comfortable hand milking. Abracadabra earned her AGS milking star on a one day test as a yearling first freshener, with 2.7 pounds of 6.2% BF milk.
