Obsidian is a very balanced doe, being extremely correct in general appearance, very dairy, and topping it off with a lovely mammary system. I especially like the wide arch of her rear udder. At 69 days fresh she milked 3.1 pounds of 5.4% BF, earning her AGS milking star.

Magic is my daughter Sara's doe and the first doe to carry her herd name. Magic is one of the dairiest does in the herd, excelling in flatness of rib, incurving thigh, thinness of skin, and is naturally uphill and very stylish. In general appearance she has excellent feet and legs, tight shoulders and a fantastic rump. Her mammary is very capacious and easy to milk, tho she needs more overall area of attachment and better teat placement. She earned her AGS milking star as a 2 year old first freshener with 3.3 pounds of 5.7% BF milk at 26 days fresh.

See her daughter Wonder Witch, by Seminole. This breeding has been repeated for late summer 2008.

I loved this little doe when I first laid eyes on her as a first freshener, and welcomed the chance to bring her into my herd. She has a lot of Twincreeks breeding behind her and some National Champions including 2 x AGS National Champion Twink's Pixie and 2006 AGS National Champion Good Day Sunshine, and is the spitting image of her paternal granddam, Midsumernitedream.  She is one of our smallest mature does and very tightly put together, with near ideal feet and legs and a very capacious, well-attached udder with good size teats that is very nice to milk.

Very "fancy" doe kid who excels in dairy character and combines that with excellent general appearance. She is freight train long combined with outstanding width both front and rear, and a bowling ball escutcheon. She is naturally uphill and has a real "look at me" attitude in the show ring.  She freshened for the first time as a two-year with LOTS of capacity and fantastic lateral attachments, showing lots of fore and rear udder and that nice globular shape that we're looking for. Her teats are long and she is already milking very well at just 2 weeks fresh. In her first shows as a milker she placed first in her class under all 3 judges, with some pretty stiff competition!

Will be bred to Lost Valley Seminole for late winter 2008 kids.

Sarafina exemplifies the kind of stretch and style I like to see in my breeding program: she is freight train long with a level topline and broad, flat rump, and excellent feet and legs. Her udder is moderately capacious with good MSL, soft texture and good size teats, making her one of my favorites to milk. One a one day test as a second freshener she produced 2.9 pounds of 6.1% butterfat milk, earning her AGS star and making her a fifth generation star doe!

Her first two kiddings each produced twin does, all of which seem to have taken after their mother in stretch and style. One of these recently earned Best Junior Doe in show with her new owners in Wisconsin. I am keeping a beautiful belted chamoisee polled daughter - see Sonatina
