Pricing

Prices are the same for bucks and does as we keep only the best bucklings as breeding animals. If we wouldn't be proud to use it in our own breeding program, we won't sell it to you! On rare occasions we will have mature does and bucks for sale - they are priced based on their individual merit. Kids out of first fresheners are usually priced at $300-$350, kids out of does that have not yet finished their championships are $400-500, and kids out of champion does are $600 and up.

No one, including us, can guarantee the mammary systems on doe kids. We strive for excellence in conformation, dairy character and mammary system, but breeding animals is not a perfect science. To know for sure what a mammary system looks like we recommend purchasing a milker if available.

Prices quoted are for animals picked up at the farm; additional charges including kennels, health certificates, shipping costs, etc., are the responsibility of the buyer. Basic health certificates are $40 . Any additional testing required, such as for TB or Bruc., will be added to your bill.

We bottle-feed the vast majority of our kids. The benefits are tremendous but so can be the work load! Therefore we ship or require that bottle babies be picked up at 4 to 6 weeks of age to be finished on the bottle by their new owners.

Reservations

We are not currently taking reservations on unborn kids. If you are interested in purchasing a kid from us please email to be put on a waiting list and keep an eye on our Kidding Schedule and Sales page. Available animals will be listed there first and often go quickly. A $100 deposit will hold the animal of your choice for one month, while shipping arrangements are made. Once notified of the birth of your reserved kid, you will be expected to remit the remaining purchase price plus shipping/crate/health certificate fees within 3 weeks. Deposits will not be refunded on cancelled orders as that money goes toward day to day feed and maintenance of the herd.
We reserve the right to keep any  kid as a herd replacements should we find it necessary to do so.

Shipping

We ship bottle fed kids at 4-6 weeks of age, out of the Dallas-Fort Worth airport, using primarily American, Delta and other major carriers. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.  This includes health papers and any testing which may be required for shipping animals, crate, etc.  We will make all the arrangements with the buyer being responsible for picking up the kid on their end.

Shipping costs using AA Priority Parcel and Continental are currently running in the neighborhood of $200 - $220 for a medium or intermediate kennel with a total combined weight of 50 pounds or less. This cost is of course subject to change. We can usually ship two young kids of similar size in a kennel together for the same price, although occasionally the airlines have an issue with this.

We do not charge mileage for our two hour round trip to the airport. We will gladly bring your kids to any show that we are attending, free of charge. Even better, we encourage you to pick up your kids at the farm if possible, so that you can see the dam and other relatives first-hand.

Paperwork

All kids will come with a printed 4-generation pedigree, health certificates including results of any testing required by you or your state, and registration applications and transfers for ADGA and AGS.

Guarantee

All animals are guaranteed healthy and free of disqualifying faults when they leave our farm. We also guarantee fertility and will replace any infertile animal contingent upon receiving a veterinarian's statement that the infertility was genetic in origin and the animal received adequate care. Associated costs including shipping of any replacement animals will be the responsibility of the buyer. Since we can not control any stress that may occur as a result of shipping, or the animal's environment or management once it leaves our farm, we cannot offer further guarantees.

If you have any questions about the above policies please ask before committing to purchase.
