Obsidian is a very balanced doe, being extremely correct in general appearance, very dairy, and topping it off with a lovely mammary system. I especially like the wide arch of her rear udder. At 69 days fresh she milked 3.1 pounds of 5.4% BF, earning her AGS milking star.  In January 2010 no one was milking well in the middle of a record snowstorm, but she still managed 2.5 pounds of 7.9% BF milk, earning her ADGA milking star and a #5 spot on the AGS One Day Milk Test top Ten for Butterfat. 

Kidded December 22nd with a beautiful jet black doe kid sired by Eclipse - retained.
