Zinnia was our first home-bred finished champion, winning her
milking legs as a first-freshening yearling, and is our highest
classifying doe. She is smoothly blended from head to tail, long-bodied
and level, with near-perfect leg sets all the way around. Her exquisite
femininity and animation make her even more appealing. Her udder
is as gorgeous as the rest of her, being capacious, high and widely
attached, with good medial and plumb milkable teats. After earning
her milking star as a first freshener, she went on to produce 4.7 pounds
of 5.88% butterfat milk on one-day test at the 2002 National Show.
As
a 7 year old Zinnia started her campaign on the ADGA show circuit, and
earned her 3rd leg at 6 months fresh, in competition that included
several AGS Master Champions. While the judges granted "bloom"
and udder capacity to some of the other animals, all agreed that she was
the "total package" and all were very impressed with her. I'm
so proud of my girl!
