Dam: MCH/CH Piddlin Acres Picachu *D

(MCH Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch ++*S E x MCH Piddlin Acres Diamond Deb 'E')

New! 4-generation pedigree here

Sorry for the poor picture - he was in a bit of a temper over this picture taking session! His nice front end assembly is still evident tho. Pokemon is heavily line-bred on the Bay Watch and Brave Heart genetics, which have been so successful in our breeding program, combined with the tremendous mammary system of  MCH/CH Picachu, who one judge commented had the finest mammary system he'd ever seen on a Nigerian. Pokemon is a powerhouse but feels much more dairy than he looks, with thin skin and nice ribbing, and I'm happy with his small size.

Pokemon is the sire of Morning After and Johanna

ADGA Linear Appraisal 2009: VEE  FS88 (Very Good)

AGS Show Record: 3 x RsCH Buck

ADGA Show Record: 1 x RsCH Buck

I love the Goodwood lines and the Kowaliks of Lost Valley have combined those lines with other top lines to produce some really outstanding show and milking animals. Seminole's dam, Sundancer, has that long, stretchy "Goodwood" look, combined with a beautiful and productive mammary system with plumb, easily-milked teats. The first freshening Tae-Bo daughters we have seen have been very promising, with lovely udders.

Seminole himself is very powerfully built with a near-ideal front end assembly, long, level topline, good width throughout from his chest to his high, wide open escutcheon, and great feet and legs. These traits are all evident in his offspring, many of which have earned junior legs, and some even Best in Shows as junior kids.

Seminole is the sire of Wonder Witch, Evanescence, Pandora and Abracadabra

Finally - although we don't yet have a fresh Seminole daughter here, we were able to see one in person at a recent show. This is TX Twincreeks SEM Windswept, out of a Midsumernitedream daughter, owned by Dawn Repp of Sweet Blossom Farm. We're very excited about her and what she portends for all our Seminole daughters!

As Sunshine approached 11 years old it finally occurred to me that with all she has accomplished in her life: finishing her permanent championship in both AGS and ADGA, winning AGS National Champion at 10 years old, earning two Best in Show wins, appraising Excellent at 11 years old, and still maintaining near perfect feet and legs and a high, tightly attached udder, that I should really keep a herd sire out of her!  Meteor is very long, stretchy, tight-shouldered, great feet and legs, and tops it off with his surprising random black and white coloring and a sweet as sugar temperament.

Meteor is the sire of Ladies Maid and Maid of Honor

ADGA Linear Appraisal 2009: +EE  FS84 (Good Plus)

I'm very excited about bringing in what I think will be a very potent outcross for my herd. There is a tremendous amount of milk in this pedigree, combined with show-proven general appearance, dairy character and mammary systems. His dam, Dizzy, was linear appraised this year at 87, with an "E" on mammary system. The Caesar's Villa lines have been crossing very well with the Twink's Pixie/Luck of the Draw line in the Dill's herd.

Another excellent outcross for us, bringing back in one of favorite old herdsire lines, Goodwood Weisbaden, and tons of general appearance and dairy character. This little boy is gorgeous and knows it!  Pictured at just a few days old.

Cream with blue eyes.

I love Simon! He's very solidly built with a lot of bone, long, wide, level and has a sweetheart personality.  His dam is a small, correct first freshener with a lovely mammary system with excellent MSL and teat placement. Interesting combination of proven bloodlines including Stonewall's Raising Arizona, Far-n-Best Suzuki *D and MCH Doe C Doe.

Pecan Hollow C Total Eclipse

DOB: 02/23/09

Sire: Pecan Hollow SFB Constantine

(Twin Creeks BW Sanfranciscobay *S  x Pecan Hollow Creme-D-Mint)

Dam: Dill Pickle LB Constantine

(Lost Valley BDC Little Bear x CH/MCH Dill Pickle LT Gothika)

New! 4-generation pedigree here.

I went to Pecan Hollow farm to pick up another buck kid, and Eclipse's dam caught my eye so much I just could not go away without one of her boys. Constantine is an extremely long-bodied, elegant and correct doe with a snugly attached udder with good MSL and large well placed teats - just the type we want a herd sire out of. One of our most influential herd sires, MCH Bay Watch, is on both sides of this pedigree, as well as MCH/GCH Gay-Nonpareil and the lovely Gothika. Eclipse should be an udder buck as well as passing on the outstanding general appearance and dairy character this is deep behind him. We look forward to using him this fall.

Obviously these weren't the pictures I set out to get, but he wasn't having anything to do with his formal photo shoot. We'll try again another time.

Dam: MCH/PGCH Pecan Hollow Savannah *D

(Twin Creeks AA Purple Heart *S x Shady Meadow Miss Scarlet)

Chocolate buckskin w/random white overlay

This is the kid I went to Pecan Hollow to get initially. I have long admired his dam Savannah, who was the 2004 NDGA National Champion Senior Doe. A small doe, she is very correct with a near ideal mammary system with excellent MSL and teat placement. Savannah traces back to one of favorite does, Yuletidetreasure, who we lost to cancer several years ago. I'm glad to bring that line back in. Safari looks like he's going to be a very small buck, so he may become our "downsizer" as well as giving us those udders we're looking for.

Buckskin w/white

Maid Marian really bloomed with this 4th freshening and looks fantastic, enough to earn a LA score of Excellent on her first ADGA appraisal. Although a small doe and more compact than the rest of our does, she is outstanding in dairy character, body and mammary system, and combining that with the PromisedLand lines on the top we decided that this was a little guy we really needed to keep.
