Starfire is a very dairy young doe with a lot of sharpness and flatness of bone, and good feet and legs.  I love milking her - her first freshening udder is capacious with buttery texture and is very easy to milk, tho I'd like to see a stronger medial and more plumb teats. She won her class each time shown as a first freshener. She was only a few days fresh in these pictures and carrying too much milk at the end of a long show day - a few months into her lactation she looked much better.

Starfire earned her AGS and ADGA milking stars on a one-day test as a first freshener, with 3.2 pounds of 5.9% BF milk at 85 days fresh.

Kidded August 31st with beautiful chamoise-and-white twin does sired by Seminole. Both are sold. This breeding has been repeated and a doe kid retained.

Our first Casanova daughter to keep and she is a beauty! Unfortunately Katie broke a front leg rather badly in March, resulting in 3 months in a splint and a crooked leg. She will never be sound enough in that leg to be shown, but hopefully she'll be around for a long time as a milker and valuable brood doe. Forgive me for these less than flattering pictures of unclipped, untrimmed Katie - they will be replaced as soon as possible! I'm very pleased with how tightly her mammary system is attached, with lots of width and an especially wide and smooth foreudder.
